Get answers to what you wanted to know about presenting contemporary circus! What productions can you book, and what is required in order to host a circus production? How is it best marketed, and can circus be a way of reaching new target audiences? With a panel consisting of experienced circus presenters, led in conversation by Mette Klouman who has created a course in presenting contemporary circus.

Mette Klouman
Acting operations manager for Manegen. She runs Illimité Agency, an agency/production company for Swedish new circus, where she, among other things, is the producer for Kompani Giraff. Together with Stefan Karlström she organises courses for programmers in how to present circus.
Panelists:
Pernilla Appelqvist
Programme producer at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg, and project manager for Gothenburg´s Dance and Theatre Festival. Pernilla has with a great commitment worked with presenting circus since 1998.
Håkan Nordman
Presenter and project manager for the municipality of Sundvall in the north of Sweden. Has for many years organised arts events for children and youth. Since 2016 he is project manager for Cirkuslyftet, organising a circus festival and residencies in Sundsvall.
Stefan Lidström
Producer at Umeå Teaterförening since 2017, working with the artistic programme, marketing and communication. Umeå Teaterförening have since long presented and advocated for circus, locally as well as in the Riksteatern movement. Member of the Nordic Baltic circus think tank Samovar Circles.
