Where does contemporary circus in the Nordics and Baltics find itself today? Is it a young rebel crossing borders – both literally and figuratively? Or is it the little sibling of the family fighting for a spot in the coveted ranks of the publicly funded performing arts? Probably both. And certainly much more. A Call Out for the Circus invites seven people from the circus world to speak from different perspectives. Ranging from outlining the current situation of contemporary circus to visionary dreams of what the future may have in store.
