PITCHES OF NORDIC AND BALTIC ARTISTIC PROJECTS
In the TVs you find pitch videos made by the artists, covering upcoming or already touring projects.
The companies presented here have been selected on an open call by a selection committee. 60 artistic companies applied. When the selection was made, we still thought that we would be able to meet in real life at Subcase. These companies would have presented on stage at the live event.
The committee was happy to discover so much artistic work from the region, and many upcoming projects. Seeing the creativity, high artistic level and driving force of Nordic and Baltic circus has been inspirational and infused us with hope.
Making a selection is always difficult, but this time it was especially hard, knowing how the pandemic impacts all artists. The focus was on presenting a diverse range of artistic work in terms of aesthetics, genres, target audiences, scales, indoor/outdoor modes, adaptability to contexts and venues, circus disciplines and multidisciplinarity. An important aspect was to include companies from the whole region, thereby aiming to put a representative cross section of Nordic and Baltic contemporary circus forward for a wide range of Nordic and Baltic presenters.
Find more info about the companies on the Participants page and on their websites.

At a live Subcase, these companies would have been present in the Exhibition Space.
